It’s hard to believe that the crystal clear turquoise water I’m about to jump into is found just 30 miles off the coast of Los Angeles! From the deck of our boat we could see the bottom 20 feet down, along with the wildlife swimming under us - 4 foot long Leopard Sharks and Sting Rays of the same width to name a few. I sailed with a few of my buddies to Catalina Island again this weekend and had a great time snorkeling and exploring the cove called Emerald Bay where we moored the boat.
